Santa's Workshop on display at Summerville Christmas Parade | Events
SUMMERVILLE (WCSC) - An annual holiday tradition will return to Summerville December 9.
The Summerville Christmas Parade in historic downtown Summerville will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. In the event of rain, the parade will be moved to Sunday, Dec. 16. This year's theme is "Santa's Summerville Workshop".
The annual parade will be put on by Summerville DREAM and Summerville Fire Department. Floats, marching bands, and Santa and his elves are just a few of the participants in this year's parade.
The parade traditionally features as many as 3,000 participants and over 10,000 spectators, according to Summerville DREAM.
